Hosting and Infrastructure
Is StellarUp hosted on-premises or as SaaS? Can hosting be region-specific?
StellarUp is a cloud-based SaaS solution hosted on AWS. Default hosting regions include the US, UK, and EU. Custom hosting regions can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration
Does StellarUp support SSO, including SAML-based identity providers like Azure Active Directory?
StellarUp currently supports Google and Outlook SSO. SAML-based SSO and Azure Active Directory support are on the roadmap for release in 2025.
Email and Privacy Compliance
Can the platform send emails from our organization’s domain and meet email security standards?
Yes. StellarUp can send emails from a custom domain once SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are properly configured. The platform aligns with standard data privacy protocols.
Security Certifications
What security certifications does StellarUp have?
StellarUp is currently certified under CyberEssentials. ISO 27001 and other industry certifications such as SOC 2 are in progress. The platform is fully GDPR-compliant.
System Integrations
Does StellarUp integrate with ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems?
StellarUp integrates with many popular CRMs and HRIS platforms. Custom integrations with ERP systems are available for an additional fee.
Are there additional costs for integrations?
Many standard integrations are free. More complex or custom integrations may involve a one-time or monthly service fee.
Does StellarUp support payment processing?
Yes. The platform integrates with Stripe and Mollie to support paid memberships, events, and discount credit systems.
API Capabilities
Does StellarUp offer APIs? What can they be used for?
StellarUp includes a data API for analytics and Excel exports. Additional APIs include program endpoints such as events, participants, and relationships. The platform also integrates with CRMs and HRIS systems via Merge, and supports Stripe, Mollie, and MailChimp APIs. Some APIs may carry a small monthly usage fee.
Support and SLA
What kind of support does StellarUp offer? A: StellarUp guarantees 99.9% uptime.
A global support desk and on-call technical team are available, with region-specific availability offered as needed. Standard SLAs and documentation are provided, and customized support packages are available for clients with specific infrastructure needs.
Implementation Timeline
How long does it take to implement StellarUp?
Typical onboarding takes approximately three weeks and includes a strategy workshop, handover and training sessions, technical setup, and a pre-launch check-in. A dedicated onboarding lead guides clients throughout the process.
Subscription and Setup Costs
What are the estimated costs for subscription and implementation?
The one-time setup fee is €2,500. This includes platform configuration, user training, administrator onboarding, integration support for standard systems, and visual customization such as logo and domain setup.
